The National Association of Nigerian understudies has engaged the Federal Government to investigate the requests of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU).
The supplication as per the Daily Independent was contained in an announcement marked by the National Public Relations Officer, Mr Bestman Okereafor, on in Enugu.
Okereafor in the announcement encouraged the FG to meet the requests of the striking teachers to the greatest advantage of Nigerian understudies.
"NANS is at long last approaching the Federal Government to take a gander at methods for settling its disparities with ASUU and COEASU individuals.
"We offer that legislature go into settling the issue critically to the greatest advantage of every single Nigerian understudy.
"This ought to be managed immediately with the goal that the progressing strike won't influence the scholarly date-book of the foundations," he said
Review that NANS has prior issued a 7-day final proposal to the Federal Government to meet the requests of the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
